FAQ

Most common questions about EMS®.

How is EMS® different from an „off-the-shelf methodology" (Scrum, OKR, Lean)?

EMS® isn't yet another methodology you have to grind through a 6-week course. It's an operating framework built on 50+ rollouts at founders of service businesses. The four pillars A · S · A · P organize the company around concrete decisions, roles and flows — not around a „nice document for the shelf."

How long does an EMS® rollout take?

Typically 8–12 weeks. Phase A (Analysis) takes 2–3 weeks, S (System) 2–3 weeks, A (Architecture) 1–2 weeks, P (Processes) 2–3 weeks. After the rollout we stay on as Interim PM or step back with a handover plan.

Will EMS® work in my service business?

EMS® is designed for companies of 5–50 people in a service model — soft houses, digital agencies, consulting firms, e-commerce with a service side. If you sell your team's time / specialist expertise and operations start to crack as you grow — EMS® was built precisely for you.

What stays in the company once the rollout is done?

After EMS® you're left with a system that runs without us: an SOP knowledge base, a founder's command panel, a meeting and decision system, an authority matrix, operational reports. Not to mention new team habits — which stay for years.

How much does it cost?

The price depends on the company's scale and the scope of the rollout. After the first 15–30 min call we know the starting point and send a proposal with a cost range. It's usually a fraction of what recruiting + onboarding a full-time senior COO costs.
